AROUND THE ROOM: Balloons for Everyone

The children’s bedroom is the perfect place to play with imagination… not only for them, but for us a parents and decorators! The main inspiration for the Carmela’s and Ramon’s bedroom was our hot air balloon flying experience.

COLOR: the  ligt blue/ lanvender in the walls is emulating the bright sky, over which we add pops of complementary colors with decorative objects. Similar options from Upstairs.

ART: With only 3 years old, Carmela is already the artist of  her own room. We framed her watercolor painting and added the lovely paintings that my great friend and travel companion, Luchi, especially made for us.

DECORATIVE OBJECTS: Main feature: the hot air balloon we bought in Cappadocia after the memorable flight. Similar here. We also like other mains of transportation such as trains with kids names that we found at Giro Didactico. We complemented this with children’s books – we recommend Hot Air and  El osito polar y el gran globo -, fabric letters from Anthropologie, tin lighthouse, photos and gifts from around the world over the white shelves by Sodimac

FURNITURE: the iron crib with the white patina finish and the restored seater that we found in the barn give a unique personality to the bedroom. Luna in Viaggio work here
